Billy Ray was a pretty decent mechanic at a run down shop in Metairie before the Zombocalypse. You ever play that game about where to hole up when such an event occurs? Well, a run down mechanic's shop turnes out to be a pretty good place. Billy Ray survived there around 3 weeks, mostly due to the fact he was the only one who survived day one and was pretty used to leftover food and beer.
Now he's hooked up with a small group and is doing pretty well, compartively so.

Monique's experience cannot be put into words, which is good because she never does. The others have gleaned certain information, such as she was an elementary school teacher somehwere in the Ninth Ward and the Apocalypse broke out on a school day. They can imagine the rest, but try not to.

After the outbreak most people caught on pretty quckly, unfortunately if you happened to be on Bourbon Street during that evening then it was pretty hard to notice what was going on until someone was actually biting you, and even then it took a few. Charles was working that night rather than partying and in case you were ever wondering, a 6'5"" 300lb guy with access to a kitchen full of sharp implements isn't that easy a target.

A full blooded Cajun, Jean-Baptiste's life plays out like a TV drama. Bad parents, bad childhood, Katrina, wrong crowd, strong will, own crew .... entrepreneur. Of all of the group, Jean-Baptiste's life is probably the one that changed the least.
